We need your help to prevent human-caused fires.  To find out the latest fire restrictions check out the Oregon Department of Forestry

Simple things can make a big difference. 
  • Mow your lawn in the cool of the day.  
  • Know before you go! Never use incendiary ammunition or exploding targets, which are prohibited on federal and many other lands. Check the rules and regulations in the area you are visiting. 
  • Avoid parking on dry grass. Hot exhaust systems could ignite dry grass, so park only in designated areas or in areas free of flammable materials.
  • When in doubt, call your local land management office.
