Crater Lake National Park Open, Accessible by Hwy 62 Only

Crater Lake National Park and its concessionaires are open and operating. The Park may be accessed from the South only, by Hwy 62.   Although visibility and air quality have been impacted by smoke from wildfires, concession operations remain operational for visitors to the Park.  Motorists and visitors to the area should be aware of delays on Hwy 230 between Union Creek (Jackson County) and the junction with Hwy 138 related to road construction.

West Rim Drive re-closed yesterday for road construction and visitor safety, and will remain closed until 4 p.m. on Friday (9/8/17). The North Entrance Road to Crater Lake National Park is now closed until further notice due to a potential threat from the Spruce Lake Fire.

To see visibility at Crater Lake National Park, check out the webcams.
